In a personal name, François Zeien wrote a letter to the Greens.
In order for his reflections to be read as much as possible, he asked me to publish this writing on my site as well. I wish I would like to hear more about this, the site in which this site is intended as a forum for the various opinions and convictions. And the idea presented by François witness here makes sense and is, in my opinion, shared by many people. Here’s his letter:
Gudden Owend déi gréng
I am writing to you in my personal name.
You want alternatives to fight CO2? Then I will gladly give you one. And that is profitable for everyone, and nobody would lose their face.
So, it’s really easy. It is known that in nature everything that photosynthesizes will bind to the CO and produce oxygen, which is important for every life on the planet.
How would it be if, by introducing a tax on CO2 instead of a CO2 tax, a study would be carried out, where it should be calculated how many trees and other plants had to be planted in Luxembourg, for Luxembourg to be CO2 neutral and how many areas to reduce it? , and where would it be ideal to date?
I know it costs money again, but it keeps working. And then you give it subsidies when people plant their land on nature? This makes us more sensible than a CO2 tax.
Do you call yourself “The Green”? With this project, you would like to be re-named your name more.
In addition, the time would have been spent to run the infestation of the electric car in Tesla, offering people a secure alternative, where nobody has to worry about being struck in a accident by a battery explosion or a car starting a fire .
It should work in two directions, building on nature and the environment, and on a safe alternative to the current mobility of diesel and gasoline. To want to demand that at any price, to pay taxes on an even more secure alternative is in my opinion the wrong way.
In the hope of an answer, I remain
Best regards
Zeien François
