After 40 years and soon to be in the political parties!

Iwanted to be a German teacher myself, but everything worked out as planned! My mother became ill with cancer, I threw my dangles at the drum and went to work for an hour and a administration, and from there, to Paris and a journalism school. I also immediately got out a newspaper: the arsonist. Today I am a little embarrassed because the whole thing was naturally juvenile-naive, and I used that kind of journalism to tell the reader what he was thinking. Intolerant, like someone is 20 years old, quoi! However, not everything was wrong, just its time in advance. In that newspaper, for example, there was a form to step out of the Catholic Church. As a teacher, my father worked as a freelance teacher in Luxembourg for 20 years. After the first edition of the firefighter, he was given a stand-in by Abbé André Heiderscheid about his messy feel; after the 4th edition he was announced. After that, my father went over to the tag leaf to join him for 30 years. 40 years later, the separation between church (s) and state was officialized, just as it should be in a modern state, without hatred of religious thoughts, opinions and beliefs.

Two years later I started at Radio Luxembourg. I had a lot of hair on my head, didn’t want to cut it off, and was called Richelieu or Artagnan. I was drawn to the political red spectrum. At the beginning of the 1980s, the LSAP – in the opposition Congress – had; at that time congress continued for a whole day: at 9 o’clock in the morning, we had lunch at some point and there was not only coffee and cake, but also a little alcohol. The vote was therefore good in the afternoon, it was slapped on the CSV-DP coalition and LSAP faction chief Maurice Thoss expressed himself in the statement: “… and at the end of the month an envelope from the DP comes to RTL – Reporter done! ”I included this extract in my report – without comment, with the result that the non-listeners were massively annoyed with us about the statement and demanded the editor-in-chief Pilo Fonck on the antenna an excuse. Maurice Thoss did this 48 hours later; 6 months later, he was no longer the head of faction. I had learned two things: RTL was seen by many sides as a blue transmitter – probably because the government coalition was led by a Gaston Thorn 5 years earlier, and secondly to the address of politicians: never make a media house for you own weaknesses, responsible for your political defeat, because that shot is going downhill.

t about the same time, I did two table rounds with gays, twice an hour and a half after 7pm. The radio was listened to as long as the radio remains, to present itself no longer. The gays have talked about their problems of being respected at home in the family circle and also outside in society. Large parts of the population were horrified and many were convinced that I was also a leftist. The CSV MP Marc Fischbach, who was completely new in politics at the time, asked a parliamentary question whether RTL and his reporter Guy Kaiser could do nothing better than diffuse such a table round. Prime Minister Pierre Werner reacted personally to this. So my path as a so-called red reporter of the transmitter with the red micro was marked! I was realistic enough to know that it was taking its time in society until homosexuality was fully accepted. 40 years later finally the marriage to tous!

At the time, the news of the steel crisis was still mirroring, discussions were being debated and the Communists remained loyal to the ARBED’s request for a press conference. The editor-in-chief sent me to the PK and I contacted Esch by phone and Villa Louvigny to make an initial report. At that time, I was lucky to have a solid voice and to be convincing accordingly. The Luxembourg word responded, including the CSV: my report was read and read,

but no mistake could be made… I was not fired… .but apparently I was raised a bit communist. In fact, I was a member of the KP for three months, but when I was banned from partying by René Urbany – a savvy human being, listening to concerts and a church, I hurriedly returned, with the finding: les partis sont faits pour les hommes , but les hommes ne sont pas faits les les partis!

Around that time, I wanted to get socially involved and for the first time ever compiled an OGBL list for the RTL delegation elections. Unheard! Until then, RTL was a hundred percent success of the F.E.P. (Private Civil Service). Those on the right reacted sharply, because until then there was always an F.E.P.-LCGB coalition at RTL.

In the Luxembourg word, a coward under the anonymity waving a bread basket: neutral is one when one is black; blue is still only acceptable, but red doesn’t work! In the first two rounds I never got a full list, but 15 years later it hit the road: I became president of the delegation, being the first “red” in the history of RTL and the F.E.P. is slowly but surely disappearing from the business scene. And, as OGBL says, automatically think of LSAP! I finally arrived at the workers’ party, although I was never a member.

t CLT-UFA, everything was quiet, except during the period when I was delegation president. It was very high, not only in the Luxembourg program, but in the entire society. There were changes in the shareholding – the Germans came in, changes in the direction, which immediately became a message: “You cost Luxembourg dearly”. Everything was turned upside down, much to the dismay, and people were offended. A great time, with a collective bargaining agreement, where the income of the salaries was partially evaluated for performance. After 4 years – even as President of the European Committee – I was nervous at the end and resigned. Casteg’s John wasn’t happy about this, we got Butteck and I came to the conclusion after 16 years at the OGBL: that was it! Now to 100 percent journalism.

In the 90’s, not only was Iraq a war, but the entire Balkans gradually fell into flames. The Grand Duchy welcomed over 3000 refugees from the former Yugoslavia and they came together quite a bit. in the Grand Duchy. The exhibition halls in Kirchberg were crowded, you could see photos in the press where all these people were standing behind the grids, smoking, or hanging the laundry. Yes, it was all a bit daunting and I asked CSV representative Laurent Mosar in the RTL evening journal: “3000 refugees! Isn’t that a bit much? ”The interview was decided pretty quickly and was live. With my question, I thought: “Do we know what we start with? They can’t beat the Luxexpo forever! Where do these people come from? What do we do to integrate them? “Part of the ‘independent’ press did not forgive my department at the OGBL, and so after the interview and the circle of ADR, I was asked what so many want to say, as in the so jumped me pretty fast!

ome years ago my father died, and ‘in the approach of cinquantaine’ I thought it would be good to change the profession. Lucien Thiel asked me to work as a communications person at ABBL, the association of banks and bankers. The financial sector has been interested in me for a long time, I promised. Luss didn’t tell me he was going to run for parliamentary election. As this is slowly fading, everyone naturally thought of the DP and some political observers also saw me again in the DP until the bomb was blown up and it was announced that the run for the CSV went to the race. Was the emperor black that time ?! Almost unbelievable! The interpretation was at hand because I had recently transferred to the LCGB shortly before my department at RTL. That wasn’t very clean, but because I was in the clinch with John, I wanted to dick him again. In fact, I was elected in the delegation elections to resign my mandate after a few months, since I joined the ABBL. As I said, not very clean, but such things are done when one is strangely wound. For the time being, I was sort of rancorous towards John, but I couldn’t imagine that the short period of LCGB (sic: CSV) would stick with me for such a long time. So I got into the CSV with my friendship with Lucien Thiel!

Conclusion after 38 years: I was in CP, DP, LSAP, ADR and CSV; a little regret I already have, not once been to those Greens. Not calculated in the last constituency! But, maybe I’m a critical sympathizer …
