Climate skeptics are often eager to avoid climate change because they are unwilling to change their abject lifestyles. While climate skeptics see the climate change, but do not share the view that most people are to blame, nobody has yet to answer the question of whether the other side, so the climate fanatic are they adjusting their standard of living or whether it is enough for them, from time to time to just raise a dense blabla? Well, without wanting to argue – even if I wanted to – I know from the “green” environment, which break down twice a year in southern France / northern Spain with their thick car and do not enjoy themselves ! Is the green car park, Movement Ecological or Greenpeace major electric? Wouldn’t it be better if everyone would walk in front of their own door ?!
T his week the car is taken out twice, to the supermarket and to the doctor. I admit, as a retired person I am in a privileged situation, but I have driven a 4.2 liter car for 9 years; just to buy, the larger size is used. On Mondays, the remains of the weekend are eaten, evenings
often made with butter, sometimes with pâté, sometimes with prayer. We got rid of 2 liters of milk this year, some eggs and some shit, because the holiday season did not “survive”. On holiday: the first plane we did at the age of 28 (Palma), then For years, not only because we had to put the house in order, and then a maximum of two a year (summer and winter), without leaving the political continent for a single time. My phone has 7 years, my PC had I’m 20 years old (Mac), and I finally have to switch it off because of my internet site, I drink water from the tap, take one to two bottles of beer, and when we go to dinner in the garden we regularly do the heat mushrooms; the big disadvantage if one lives right next to the forest: from that forest I use the wood with which I heat the house, especially during the transitional season = CO2 neutral.
O h, now I want to open the refrigerator and bedroom door to the public, I ask – and ask myself, dear climate scientist – what could I do better to stop climate change on the planet? To put it briefly: I am convinced that many of us live the same way we do – except in the area of professional traffic. Metro-boulot-dodo falls away with me!
There is probably less plastic – but still 100 kg on the head! – therefore more paper bags that are massively upright, but which can – abroad – to keep the dirt out! – without recycling, it is simply a new industry; I use for the tour of the city the trolley, then one can give up on both. Clearly, each of us can leave little ones where the emphasis is on small. And just as clearly: when hundreds of millions of citizens on the planet consume a little more with respect, the environment is good! But are there such stupid gestures as to bring about changes in nature, if possible to reverse? Bananas that are wrapped in plastic, may be nervous, but do not change the magnetic fields on the sun. While driving a smaller car (internal combustion engine) is good for less CO2 but does not affect the currents in the oceans; through more bicycles does the clouds in the sky actually change, where we do not even know how they really arise?
A lthough they are climate skeptics, they are prepared to carry things if they make sense! When I saw on the phone that day that 20,000 liters of water was needed to produce a single jeans and a t-shirt, I almost fell on my back. So buying less clothes, even if I’m not just a dandy? Maybe even more social shopping? So in societies that treat and pay their people a decent amount of decent; but, when does one know that with certainty ?! Conclusion: I am willing to make less noise, but, solely for the sake of the environment, not to reverse the climate change. So heat up a degree, heat heat mushroom less, go on vacation ….? On meat I do not give up for health reasons, but since I have been in the world, my vegetarian days a week.
As for the theory that climate change is anthropogenic:
For me personally, the biggest problem is that science relies 100% on computer calculations. The purely scientific reasoning rather suggests uncertainty, the computer confidently tells us the future ahead. Prerequisite: the computer is properly powered! Then one should make his choice ?! Henri Poincaré came to the conclusion: “The only truth in science comes from observation”! That seems to have gone down a bit in some.
And, unlike climate activists, I put a great deal of emphasis on research: the recent invention of a new wood-derived material means a revolution for me!

You, however, dear climate activists do not want any more growth, you demand “anti-growth”, in French better understood with “decoupling”. The EXPRESS (no. 3564) recalls that it (for France) became the decorsary in the year of German occupation from 1940 to 1944: the wealth of each Frenchman declined by between 30 and 40 percent. Everything was rationed, mainly clothes and food; One day, you must eat 250 grams of bread, 25 grams of meat, 6 grams of cheese …. from 1942 on, every person ate a maximum of 1100 calories a day … the mother often went to bed to gain a few timbers from a German soldier (this is called the horizontal collaboration, which resulted in 1 million babies!). Vive la décroissance! In this way – nothing to tear and bit away – is a revolution on the streets again, and history begins again! Is it really what you want? With decolorization, there will be cancer treatment then, in fact, only for the rich!
R esearchers and scientists are rational people; in them there is not much (no) room for emotion. I welcome it that some also tend to take the so-called climate skeptics into the boat of climate change: Climate skeptics are often willing to do something for the environment! But in a thoughtful way! I am apprehensive about certain demands: do not put children into the world to produce less CO2! Old people are dying in nursing homes, for that very reason! Radical changes in our consumer behavior without considering that millions of people are losing their jobs. Radical thinking at all, even in the reactions in social networks, where climate skeptics are sometimes put to the test in an almost fascist way. With a number of young climate fanatics, I do not suspect that they will no longer pack the general hysteria mentally, permanently have a bad conscience that they are at all around the world and try as moral compensation as the Apostle’s familiar environment…
P anic is aroused, even in politics. The European Parliament decides on the state of emergency on the old continent! You jamais of! Even as far as the stupidity of politics is concerned! It shows how politicians are moving ahead of a movement that will later prove to be nothing but a fashion phenomenon. On the very same day that this emergency was proclaimed, Black Friday was: Millions of people acted like Oeko-Vandals in search of pointers, just as if there were no climate change! For real climate activists, a bleak situation that can only lead to something: even more radical positions, even more extremism!
