hated Paris, this city infested with eco-responsible bourgeois disgusted me, I was maybe a bourgeois too but I was not eco-responsible, I drove in 4×4 Diesel- I might not have done much good in my life, but at least I would have contributed to destroying the planet – and I systematically sabotaged the selective sorting program implemented by the property manager by throwing empty bottles of wine in the bin reserved for papers and packaging …

“Serotonin”. Outrageous? Yes, just in those times when everyone thinks they have to get involved, so our blue planet doesn’t die as quickly as scientists believe it to. Houellebecq is a writer, artist who only half baked them! Let’s look at him with his fingers and take care of the real serious things of life again: the Tri of the Poubelles !!

owever, one can think about what the man is writing here. Just about everything is reversed: you don’t even pay attention to the environment at any rate, because politics is even failing. We are driven as a homo-consumer, in order to keep the economy running, while keeping it as cheap as possible, so that as much as possible remains for the shareholders! In this lazy system should I join to help the environment ?! Come on, we are replacing the planet, for as long as it takes until the policy is awake and realizes that it is up to them to set the necessary framework. Isn’t it superfluous to remove paper from glass without having to tackle the problem at the root ?! Aren’t we kept for years?

Hope lies in technology and in the sciences. Years ago, the thrill was done with the trackers – also by me – and today there are LED bulbs that not only give off a beautiful light, but also consume extremely little power. This was done by a European directive that put pressure on the industry … and, it did. Under the European Commission, J. Santer, plastic made from Japanese grass was produced, with the result: someone shampooed the shampoo bottle in the garden, and after a few weeks it disappeared, had composted itself. Hooking at the thing back then: if all the plastic had been produced that way, the Japanese grass would have to be planted heavily so that there was no room left for potatoes in the European Union. It does show, however: it is possible it just needs to be pressure from politics on the industry. And first, consumer pressure on politics!
