Open letter to members of the Board of Directors
of the Housing Fund
Dear members,
On reading the recent report of the Court of Auditors on the reports and balance sheets for the 2015 to 2017 financial years of the Housing Fund, I must note that the results of the audit and the related recommendations of Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) bear their first fruits. The same applies to the changes imposed by the auditor Ernst & Young concerning accounting.
The PwC auditor with his team leader Mr. Jaques VANDIVINIT, who has been Director of the public establishment in question since the end of the past year, was commissioned in 2014/15 by Minister Maggy NAGEL (DP) and by his successor Marc HANSEN (DP) to carry out an organizational and functional audit of the Housing Fund and to formulate recommendations.
In a letter dated June 2, 2015 to PwC, the undersigned of this letter formally contested the audit in question published in April 2015 which, according to him, was “strewn with faults, lies, gratuitous allegations, d ‘innuendo and malicious allusions’ to conclude as follows: ‘basing recommendations on such a gap analysis shows perfect amateurism’.
It remains to wish you a good continuation.
Please accept, Dear Members, the expression of my distinguished feelings.
