oday, 86 years ago, Adolf Hitler became Reichskanzler. Not by a push, by a revolt, but quite legally.4 Weeks later, the first KZ was ready for the assault. As the German Foreign Minister remembers: carried on by his propaganda and by the peace of the people. Listen to the beginners! is then always said.
It would be so slow at the time! Germany thought about the Holocaust last weekend, and a statistic hung there with me:
40% of young people in Germany do not really know how to begin with the word ‘Auschwitz’!
That’s dramatic! For so long, it has not been here that 6 million Jews have been persecuted, tortured, shot, poisoned! How is such a development possible in our society? Especially today, where we have so many more opportunities to inform us: radio and television have been liberalized, social media has come along. Sure, the lower instincts have to be satisfied, and so there are more and more bacon films. Why not also? If it’s a pleasure ?! Well, there are so many ways to get information, even more serious, even less. There are so many talk shows that talk about news and above all: there is ZDF / Doku where you get to watch movies 1-2 times a week about the Nazi: how they could come to power, how they could quickly break into society what their ideology was … and, above all, you get to see the films of that time, mostly shot by Nazi, where in KZ’s the bodies with the dredgers were blown away..

houldn’t it be imitating the American soldiers, as they then forced the Germans, to go into the KZ’s to look at the whole swing (sorry) of the NAZI with their own eyes? I do not know what the situation is in the UK, but should not the duty of adolescents – of a certain age – have to watch such documentary films, of course accompanied by the necessary explanations ?! No one should come now and say that this would not be good for the youthful soul who would be traumatized. The young people, just through the social media, are getting quite different things!
It can’t be that 73 years after KZ’s liberation everything is forgotten! Especially today where the brown plague is likely to spread again. If 40 percent of young people in Germany no longer really know what to start with the word AUSCHWITZ, then that goes even further: if a Dab of the AFD votes the Maymal in Berlin as Mahnmal the disgrace, the Youths start out with so little.
It was not yet long before her that the man of the tree had come down; today it looks as if he wants to go back to his tree …. just just to cat!
