better late like never! President of the Parliamentary Justice Commission, Green Deputy Charles Margue concludes in an article in Tageblatt (21.01.20) that there is a major problem with the prosecutor and the police in the various files. But, the good man takes out all the paintbrushes to paint things beautifully! Now, it is done as if one was aware from the outset of the dramatics of the situation, that from the beginning one had the matter under control. What I first wrote in April of this year in https://guykaiser.lu/letzebuerg-a-kgb-zaiten/ was stamped as cheap polemic. Charles says that privacy had made him a lot of headbreaker when he was still working for the opinion institute TNS-ILRES, but he does not say he forgot about the headbreaker when he went green on the herb market. It reads as follows: “Yet a candidate for a post with the Public Prosecutor is confronted with light orders during the hiring interview, which did not even lead to convictions (traffic violations and one slander), asked these legitimate questions”. And further: “Both Minister Bausch and Braz responded with a defense letter and the press that the Public Prosecutor sought to justify during press conferences.”
That’s politically, “Shadow color!” It took zig Commission meetings over weeks and months, until the view of the majority, absences from those founding, came: “Gambia! We have a problem!”. In particular, the prosecutor worked hard to recognize his mistakes. It was not clear that “it would be clear soon that the difficile question of data protection in the administrations could not be worked on with further improvements”, be it that “fast”, if Luxembourgish “get fast / hard” in the green spheres new definition.
